The traces hint that at the arrival of a Dark Default Wallpaper, it will blend with the night blue colour scheme of the app’s dark theme. However, presently, the Dark Default Wallpaper is not available to beta testers.

WhatsApp Dark Default Wallpaper Spotted Ahead of Dark Theme Roll-out

According to the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo there is a night blue overlay across the status bar at the top, the contact name strip, also the date and information bubbles below it. WABetaInfo is also the first one who spotted the latest update. The latest beta build of WhatsApp is carrying the build number v2.19.327,  and size is 18.15MB. However, apparently, there are no new features that are visible to users at the moment. Well, it is still not confirmed that when WhatsApp will finally get the dark theme that has been in the pipeline for a while nor the company has shared anything officially with the users or on any platform. However, WhatsApp dark default wallpaper Spotted by WABetaInfo is giving a positive signal that soon we will get to see the dark mode within the app. The addition of new features is making the app more exciting for the users, especially, the recently updated group privacy setting is providing additional control to users.
