WhatsApp announced this feature on Friday, in a blog post: “Today, we’re launching a new group setting where only admins are able to send messages to a group. “One way people use groups is to receive important announcements and information, including parents and teachers at schools, community centres, and non-profit organizations,” This feature was much needed as some groups are made for awareness purposes where admin want to float some information and don’t want to receive back messages to avoid hustle. In this way group, admins will be able to streamline their communications.

The Facebook-owned company, WhatsApp has introduced many other new features in the last few months such as group descriptions, audio and video messages and added some new stickers. WhatsApp is also planning to launch a catch-up feature that will constantly re-add people in the group who had previously tried to leave the group.

you’ll need to open up Group Info ap on Group Settings Send Messages select “Only Admins.”
This feature will be available to all the WhatsApp users around the globe. This tool is somewhat similar to a feature on Telegram, however, it’s not shocking to know that Facebook is copying its rivals.
